What we did last half term
Last half term our Topic/Science was ‘The Land That Time Forgot’. We focused on Dinosaurs, fossils and bones.
We were Paleontologists for the afternoon and searched for dinosaur bones in sand and had great fun.
In English we have been focusing on Dinosaur stories, rhymes and facts. We showcased our work and performed a rhyme for the rest of Key Stage 2 during our Class Assembly.
Blue 2 had a fantastic time sailing; luckily the weather was glorious with just the right amount of wind. We went in two groups so that everyone had the chance to experience the Canadian canoes, access boats and two man canoes. We learnt how to work together using new found sailing skills
Blue 2 had the most amazing time singing and signing with the Year 4 class at St. Joseph’s Primary school. We had two visits and the children and staff were really friendly, making us feel very welcome. We learnt some new songs and made new friends.
Hopefully we can do this again in the future.
