What we did last half term

Our English focus was the short film ‘The Lighthouse’. We watched short clips and did some fantastic work on writing newspaper reports based around the Lighthouse Keeper and the events within the film.

We learnt a lot about Cities around the world in our topic. We researched our favourite Cities and discovered many interesting facts about landmarks, population, food, language, schools and culture.

In maths we all worked really hard on our measuring skills. We investigated different types of measurement including measuring liquids (capacity), solids (mass) and length.

As part of our topic on different cultures, we visited the Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Willenhall. During our visit we took part in the different traditions, learnt about the religion and were invited to taste the delicious food! We all had so much fun on the visit and felt really welcome within the temple. Our behaviour was brilliant!
