Sherbrook Primary School

Buildings and Facilities

Facilities are provided for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Our main school building is on one single level and there is wheelchair access/ramped areas to gain access in and out of the building. The corridors are wide so people in wheelchairs can travel along them easily and the doorframes are extra wide to enable wheelchairs to pass through the doors. We have several rooms in school with electric hoists, which are serviced regularly.

Our main facilities include:

  • Several rooms are fitted with tracking and hoist equipment
  • Extra rooms for intervention work and 1-to-1 work

  • Dark room
  • Family/meeting room
  • Children's toilets some equipped with changing beds
